Information you provide
When you submit a contact form, project brief, newsletter request or manuscript, HypoSTAT may receive your name, contact details, organisation, project information, manuscript metadata, uploaded file and consent choice.
Reader sign-in
If you choose Google sign-in to comment on an insight, the website stores the provider identifier, name, email and profile image returned for the sign-in. Your Google password is never sent to HypoSTAT.
How the information is used
We use it to respond to enquiries, assess project requests and manuscripts, maintain requested subscriptions, support reader discussions, protect the service and meet legal or contractual obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Manuscript storage
Submitted manuscripts are stored outside the public web directory and are not published automatically. Do not include restricted participant data or directly identifying research records. Editorial access should be limited to authorised reviewers.
Cookies and analytics
Essential storage may be used for session security and consent preferences. Optional analytics should only be activated after consent. You can choose “Essential only” in the website notice.
Retention and access
Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the stated purpose, security, records and legal obligations. Access is limited to people who need it for those purposes.
